IPMP - IP Management Platform
Complete Solution for Managing IP Security Services
IP (Internet Protocol) is the worldwide standard for communication over the Internet. Today, it is also considered to be a very fast and highly reliable channel of communication for alarm systems to transmit their signals to a designated IP receiver. Visonic's IPMP is a unique service management platform that provides security service providers a total solution for managing their IP-based services offering – enabling them to take full advantage of the IP opportunity.
Visonic's IPMP serves as the all-in-one IP receiver for Visonic's Broadband and GPRS modules. The IPMP supervises the modules and forwards all events received from them to the central station software. Featuring advanced image alarm verification receiver capabilities, the IPMP enables the central station operator to track an alarmed system quickly, and to view the alarm-time recorded images.
Smart Architecture Leads to Cost-effectiveness
The unique architecture of Visonic's IPMP – targeted to the needs of security service providers – makes it one of the most cost effective IP service management solutions on the market. A single IPMP receiver can easily handle up to 20,000 accounts at a keep-alive period of 2 minutes.
A Complete IP Receiving Application
The IPMP delivers the events received to the central station software using standard receiver protocols, so the ARC software does not need any special adaptations in order to work with IPMP.
Visonic's IPMP serves as the all-in-one IP receiver for Visonic's Broadband and GPRS modules. The IPMP supervises the modules and forwards all events received from them to the central station software. Enabling the central station operator to track an alarmed system quickly, and to view the alarm-time recorded images via a standard web browser on the operator console, with no need to leave his/her work station.
In addition, it is possible to more closely integrate the IPMP with the ARC software so that the video alarm images are forwarded to the ARC system.
Full-grade Service Management
Whether the IPMP is used as an IP receiver only or as a full-grade service management platform, it offers all needed capabilities: the service provider can set supervision frequency for each controlled system, enable/disable the PowerLink end-user portal or specific services in it, reset an end-user's forgotten password, manage the login screen advertisements, create billing reports, and much more.
